Faces of the Past – Objects of the Present 240309-31

En utställning producerad av Aerpie i samarbete med Gaaltje samiskt museum, Östersund.

Sydsamiska porträttfotografier från 1800- och 1900-tal, kolorerade av fotokonstnär Per Ivar Somby, Tromsö, ställs i relation till ett antal utvalda objekt med referenser till kolonisering av natur, kultur och andlighet.

Faces of the Past – Objects of the Present 240309-31

An exhibition produced by Aerpie in collaboration with Gaaltje Sami museum, Östersund.

South Sami portrait photographs from the 19th and 20th centuries, colored by photo artist Per Ivar Somby, Tromsö, are placed in relation to a number of selected objects with references to the colonization of nature, culture and spirituality.
